Assessment
Firstly a consultation is required to provide a through assessment on eligibility for sponsorship licence and advice about the process, requirements, documents and answer all your questions.

Application for a Sponsor Licence
Our specialists can provide a full service of preparing and submitting the application and supporting documents on your behalf. Alternatively, we provide a document checking service to ensure your completed forms and documents are accurate and correct before you submit.

Audits
Our senior advisers can visit your company to ensure compliance if the Home Office performs an audit. We would assess - right to work checks, illegal working, advise on employment and HR practice, compliance of record keeping and record duties.

Our work in these sectors has identified increasing numbers of Home Office unannounced audits with a focus on right to work checks. With employers still falling foul. Where gaps are identified by us, there is still time to apply corrective action ensuring housekeeping is in order and you are prepared. In the current immigration climate, compliance is key!

Training
Training staff on right to work checks, illegal working, advise on employment and HR practice, compliance of record keeping and record duties.

Many companies are now increasingly feeling the wrath of non compliance in the form of a Home Office civil penalty to the sum of £20,000 plus. Not only do we seek to minimise your exposure to risk; we prevent damage to your expertise reputation. Civil penalties appear, readily available, for all to see in the public domain.

To date, no EA Law client has been burned by any of the above. Testament to us and our wider immigration approach.

Application for Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) and Tier 2 Visa
Once your company is an approved sponsor licence we can assist and advise with the application for a Certificate of Sponsorship and Tier 2 visa for the employee.

Resident Labour Market Test (RLMT)
Your company shall have to identify the prospective employee is best suited for the job role. Our specialist advisers can advise and assist with the advertisement of the role in accordance with the Immigration requirements and the rules.

Note- EU national employees
If your company employs EU nationals, please see our EU settlement page. We can advise your employees on their right to either apply for 'pre settled' or 'settled' status under the new scheme which opens 29 March 2019.
Businesses must be prepared to consider that some categories of person with EU free movement rights will be left without a right to reside and work in the UK after Brexit.
A wider concern is that, EEA nationals will now be subject in whole or in part to the UK’s existing Points Based System, which is the same to that for non-EEA nationals who require Sponsorship.

Tier 2 is the most widely used type of Sponsorship. Our advice is, to obtain a Sponsorship licence. Failure to do so now, will increase Home Office, scrutiny, cost and processing times.
Please contact us if you would like a specialist adviser to visit your company to provide workshops and or seminars for your company and employees.

We could not be more pleased with the service and advice we received from EA Law via Laura. From initial telephone conversation through to face-to-face meeting and receiving a positive outcome for our sponsorship licence which is a first time experience for our practice.
Laura was professional, gave sound, honest advice and spoke in a language I could understand and did not bombard me with jargon, I felt she was realistic in setting my expectations of the process. Laura has a wonderful personable approach and her ability to easily communicate is very unique considering my previous experience of dealing with solicitors, Laura was a breath of fresh air. We would most definitely use Laura and EA Law services again if needed in the future and would recommend you.
